Types of Frames

At Shiva Infra, we provide a selection of pre-engineered steel building frame styles to address the unique requirements of our customers. Every frame style is crafted to ensure maximum functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness tailored to the project’s needs. Below are the various frame styles we offer

Clear Span (CS)

The Clear Span frame is the most commonly preferred and utilized frame style globally. It creates an uninterrupted, open environment within the building, making it suitable for loading, stacking, and other applications requiring wide spans.

The lack of internal columns results in a roomy, open interior. Clear Span structures can be constructed with widths reaching up to 150 meters, making them appropriate for extensive industrial and commercial uses. These frames feature a two-slope design, allowing water to drain from both sides of the roof for effective drainage

Multi Span (MS)

The Multi Span frame is perfect for clients needing a wide facility while benefitting from the structural efficiency of a two-slope configuration. This frame style incorporates internal columns to distribute the load, which reduces the overall structural weight and offers cost savings.

It is the most cost-effective choice for large-span buildings. Similar to Clear Span, water drainage occurs from both sides of the structure due to the two-slope design. Multi Span frames are an excellent option for clients looking for a combination of affordability and structural integrity.

Single Slope (SS)

The Single Slope frame is favored when clients need to channel water away from just one side of the building. This design is also selected when extending an existing structure that was not initially designed to support an added lean-to.

If the building’s width is significant, a Multi Span design might be a more economical choice, but Single Slope frames are ideal for projects with specific drainage challenges or certain types of additions. The slope promotes effective water discharge in one direction, which is ideal for situations where side discharge is impractical.

Multi Gable (MG)

The Multi Gable frame is a flexible option for larger sheds, providing more economy compared to the Multi Span frame. This frame is lighter due to smaller trusses, which helps lower the total material costs. However, it presents the challenge of water being discharged from the center of the building

requiring the addition of an internal drainage line, which could pose complications during heavy rainfall, particularly in industries vulnerable to water damage. Nonetheless, it remains a cost-effective choice for those seeking a blend of strength and affordability.

Lean To (LT)

The Lean To frame is the perfect choice for clients wanting to expand an existing structure along its width. This frame is designed to be added to a pre-existing building, ensuring that the original construction can support the additional load.

Lean To structures are customized to align with the roof slope of the current building, enabling suitable water drainage and preserving the integrity of the entire structure. This frame type is especially beneficial for businesses needing to enlarge their workspace without constructing a brand-new building.

Each frame style provides unique advantages based on your specific requirements—whether it is maximizing space, minimizing costs, or accommodating expansions. At Shiva Infra, we collaborate closely with our customers to identify the most suitable frame style for their project, ensuring we deliver a steel building that satisfies both functional and economic needs.
